Rap syllable counter
Check your bars.
Paste your English lyrics to see syllables per line, possible end rhymes and words that need a pronunciation check.
The reading sheet
Every line has a pulse.
Run a check to get your line-by-line reading sheet. Names, slang and unusual spellings stay marked for review instead of being counted as zero.
English dictionary estimates, including pronunciation ranges. A written line is not automatically a musical bar. This does not judge your flow, measure timing, write lyrics or validate non-English rhymes.
Use your ears, too.
Read it. Rap it.
Then revise it.
How to use a syllable count
Compare nearby lines to find a phrase that feels crowded. Say both lines over the same beat before cutting words. Stress, pauses and delivery can make two lines with different counts work together.
Why a word can have a range
English words can have multiple pronunciations. This checker shows the dictionary’s smallest and largest counts. Slang, names and numbers may be missing; check them aloud.
